Procrastination means we put off tasks. Everyone does it. It seems like a time issue, but it's about dealing with bad feelings like boredom or worry. Avoiding these feelings and tasks often leads to more stress and regret.

People often procrastinate because they think a task is too big. They might think it's too hard, boring, or painful. But hard work, challenges, and boredom won't hurt you. Procrastination, though, is linked with stress.

So, how can we stop procrastinating? First, find out what makes you want to avoid the task. Is it boring, hard, or not important to you? Then, try to change those things. If it's boring, find a way to make it fun. If it's unstructured, make a plan. Work on the task as long as you can handle. It's easier to continue a task that's already started, so start as soon as you can. List the bad things that will happen if you don't finish it. And, finally, get rid of distractions, especially digital ones.
